Welcome to my Blog

I am mainly interested in searching out rare and unusual wildflowers in the Glacial Lakes Grantsburg State Wildlife Areas (Crex, Fish Lake, Amsterdam Sloughs, and Danbury WA's), and the Governor Knowles State Forest. I will blog about my adventures in and around these areas as we go forward into 2010. Of course, when I start this blog, it is January 3, 2010. There are no flowers to be found. But I am working on a presentation to the Burnett County Garden Club on identifying wildflowers that I will be giving January 14, so wildflowers are fresh on my mind and always in my heart.
